Still updating the layout...

So... I was bored at work today (per usual) and I decided to click on the 'Random Blog' button on the blogdrive home page and... wow... most people are not interesting at all. Not even on accident. 'OMG Becky is a total slut!... I majorly failed my French exam... Blah, blah, blah, I'm so bored/high/drunk/stupid... etc.' And people definately don't update. I think there has to be a black hole some where that is slowly sucking brain cells out of society. I don't think we will get a chance to kill the planet because at this rate, in 50 years, we'll all be too stupid to use the technology we've invented.


And on a totally unrelated note... I hate whiney people. Like it really, really, really gets on my nerves. Now I know that this classifys as whining right now since I'm complaining about it, but I had to say it. I've always known that I didn't like whinyness, but here recently I've been just wanted to slit the throat of anyone who says anything about anything being 'too hot/cold/warm/big/small', 'not good/bad/wide/narrow enough', or just generally complains about anything that nothing can be done about. It's really a bad habit. Or at least I think so. It's 90 degrees out in the middle of August, what jack ass doesn't know it's hot? Do you really have to say it every 30 seconds? Did you think I forgot? Are you doing us all some great national service by being our own personal weatherman? Do you think that maybe God doesn't know you're sweating like a pig, but once he realizes it, he'll blast some A/C on you? Ugh... I got stuff like this all the time working at McD's. So what if you had made the sandwich, you would've put more onion? Well you didn't make the sandwich now did you? I'm not going to put 3 more bits of onion on here so you can have the 'perfect burger.' Swallow a hammer.

I was at work today, and I began to wonder, what ever happens to all the paper clips? I know I paper clip somethings that I give to other people, but other people do the same thing to me. And no one every really throws a paper clip away because they can be re-used again. So why is it that we constantly have to buy new ones? Where are all the paper clips going anyway?

They're probably in the same place your other sock is and wherever my boss is when he's not in his office, nor at the appointment he was headed to.

A member of DO was tragically shot to death this weekend. My thoughts from the board:

When I think about this event, I keep in mind all they times Illa had me at work cracking up; instigating stuff, running around looking for boobies, putting random  smilies. Everyone leaves a legacy and at least for me, his will be something that I smile about and further solidifies the fact that behind all the different fonts, there are people there, and those people and intertwined with the things they author on this site; the good, the bad, the lame, the funny, the inflammatory, the sweet, and the ugly. My prayers are with his family. Descanse en paz, Justin.
